Other regional partnerships

The three TraCC local authorities have also begun to work closely with the other neighbouring Welsh transport consortia as well as supporting the work of the Mid Wales Partnership through its Transport Working Group, implementing the Mid Wales Integrated Transport Strategy (June 2003).

Each local authority is also active in promoting the economic, social, health and well being of residents through partnerships with organisations and agencies - such as the Local Health Boards, Welsh Development Agency, Rail Groups and the Voluntary Sector.

Powys County Council in particular has necessarily close partner working arrangements with neighbouring local authorities in the English West Midlands.
